Today I'm loving...

... this wonderfully cheerful and colorful outfit, photographed by The Sartorialist (who else?). It just makes me happy!

Maxing and relaxing

I should be shopping. I mean, I really should get that wedding gift already, and I should get a new yoga outfit for myself, and so on. But instead, I have been caught up in the beach and it's lovely smells, sounds and flavours most days....

This is the beach where I live. Isn't it lovely?

Today I'm loving...

... this fantastic Erdem Vavinia lace dress, which looks so amazing with red accessories!

Grey will really be my thing this fall, I am telling you!

But now... time for lunch!

Today I'm loving...

... these summery pics by Swedish photographer Henrik Adamsen. They make me want to go to the pool! (I've only been swimming in the sea so far this summer, can you believe it?)

Planning in time

It is totally weird to be even thinking of, let alone looking at, winter items in this heat, but since that is what fashion is like, I can't help myself!
For now, I just have one main thought regarding my winter wardrobe, and that is that I want to build it around the color grey. So grey pieces are really at the top of my wish list for fall and winter. Like this cool scarf, from Coolil.

But now... I'm gonna go eat some watermelon, my fave fruit in the summer. I could literally eat only watermelon all day long!

... this gorgeous Silk-twill wrap dress by Vionnet. Simply stunning!
(too bad the £1,902.13 price tag is rather stunning too!)

The best invention ever!

I usually never go ga-ga over beauty products (with the exception for the time I discovered Lancome's mascaras, perhaps!) since I know that there is always a new, better product around the corner. But I happened to hit beauty gold again a few days ago, when my Clarisonic MIA arrived.

If you haven't heard of the Clarisonic products before, they help your skin "look younger, to feel healthy and rejuvenated" by using different techniques (mostly different sponges and brushes) to "cleanse, smooth and refresh the appearance of your skin", and let me tell you: it really works! My skin has never looked or felt better, and this is just after a few days!

So if you have any problems with your complexion or with your pores or anything like that, look into getting a Clarisonic product. You won't believe what a difference they make!

Today I'm loving...

... this lovely photo by Swedish fashion photographer Marcus Palmqvist.

I love anything with a retro feel, and this pic manages to have both that and a modern touch at the same time, which is great!

Today I'm loving...

... this cute, striped blazer from the Alice + Olivia 2011 Resort Collection. So cute, and so useful!

Have a great new week everyone!

You can still miss the spring in the summer

Frida Börjeson, the photographer who took the pics in the previous post, is seriously one of my favourite photographers at the moment. Just look at these amazing pics with the great cherry trees in the background.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Maxis are great! On everyone!

Julianne Moore is one of my all time favorite actresses. Not only is she talented, she is also classy and has a great sense of style. (Meryl Streep is my other fave, for those wondering!)

Just take a look at her in this maxi dress. Julianne is 50 years old, but pulls this off just as well as any of the trendy young starlets would. You go girl!

Today I'm loving...

... this gorgeous outfit on Drew Barrymore (who's style I usually don't like, so it is nice to see her in something so adorable for a change!).

A void that can never be filled

Most of the time, I am pretty happy with what I have. But then there are times where you wish you were much, much richer, so you could afford a whole collection of Alexander McQueen designs...

This happened to me today, when I saw the Alexander McQueen Resort 2011 collection. I love it! It is so Alexander McQueen, but also not, at the same time. It is simply brilliant!

So yeah, today I would definitely want to have another salary to spend... just on these pieces! They are all stunning!

The return of Kenzo

I own some vintage Kenzo pieces, but lately, I haven't been to thrilled with their new collections. The Resort 2011 collection is an exception though, I absolutely love it!

All the vibrant colors are just lovely, and exactly what you long for when you are on holiday, the flowers are sweet (even if you might get bored with them after a while) and the cuts are so flattering and modern.

A fantastic collection, I think the old Kenzo is back! Yay!

Have a great Monday and a great new week, everyone!

Today I'm loving...

... these lovely pics by Finnish photographer Annika Miettinen.

As a child, I loved being in the woods, so these pics bring back some lovely memories for me. And I love that the photographer's nationality can be so clearly seen in the pics, Finland is famous for it's lakes and woods after all!

The sales are here!

It might sound weird, but one of the things I like most about summer is actually the summer sales. You can find incredible deals and stock up on stuff you need, but don't want to spend too much on. So far, I haven't really had time to hit the sales, but I have started checking some of the online sales out. ASOS for instance has some really nice and very cheap stuff on sale right now.

I am planning on getting some clothes for yoga (the pants pictured are from American Apparel, who I love!), some cute bags and possible some jump suits (I still love this trend and think I will next year too).
Oh, and since I haven't gotten myself a tassel scarf yet, the sale would be a great time to try one of those out too. The pink is in a really cute colour as well, so why not?
So for those of you looking for some bargains, don't forget to check ASOS out! (the pieces shown are all 10 pounds or less!)
